Domestic Abuse Case Manager (Perpetrator) Hybrid

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Domestic Abuse Case Manager to join our organization dedicated to addressing domestic violence issues. This is a hybrid role, specifically focusing on outreach, engagement, and ongoing case management of perpetrators to ensure comprehensive harm reduction. Located in Hampstead, London, this role provides an important public safety function and offers a rewarding opportunity for those passionate about making a positive difference.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct detailed risk assessments with individuals who have been identified as perpetrators of domestic violence.

2. Facilitate perpetrator intervention programs structured to reduce further harm and/or violence.

3. Engage on a regular basis with clients to track their progress and to address any areas of concern or need.

4. Offer advice and guidance to clients in developing safety plans and self-improvement goals.

5. Collaborate and coordinate with multi-agency teams including police, social services, housing, and child welfare systems.

6. Maintain accurate, up-to-date case files and deliver weekly reports summarizing each client’s progress.

7. Ensure each case is dealt with empathetically, confidentially, and professionally.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

1. A university degree in Social Work, Criminal Justice, Psychology, or a related field.

2. Demonstrated experience working with domestic violence, particularly with perpetrators.

3. Knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse and its impact on victims, the community, and the cycle of offending.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and motivation skills.

5. Ability to manage high-stress situations and possess a high degree of emotional resilience.

6. Exceptional organizational skills with an ability to manage a demanding caseload.

7. Must be cooperative and work well within a multidisciplinary team.

8. Cultural sensitivity and ability to work with a diverse group of clients.

9. The ability to maintain confidentiality and work in line with GDPR and other relevant regulatory requirements.
