Family Safeguarding Model Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice is seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of a Family Safeguarding Model Recovery Worker located in Swindon, Wiltshire.

The primary function of this role is to provide high-quality, evidence-based interventions to adults, children and their families, doing all they can, and working creatively to help them change and turn their lives around.

The Pay Rate for this role is £20-£30 Per Hour 

Responsibilities:
– Deliver a full range of evidence-based parenting and substance misuse interventions in the community for families in need of help for thresholds of need and/or risk.
– Engage with families to promote recovery and resilience.
– Work creatively to help families make beneficial changes.
– Collaborate with service users on their care and treatment, and participate actively in care planning.
– Conduct risk assessments and devise risk management plans.
– Collaborate effectively with other agencies to ensure services are properly coordinated.

Requirements:
– A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or a related field.
– Experience in providing substance misuse and mental health services in a community setting.
– Strong knowledge of safeguarding laws, regulations, and protocols.
– Proven ability to manage risk and make decisions to safeguard children and vulnerable adults.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building trust with people from various backgrounds.
– Ability to travel within the community for purposes of home visits, meetings etc.
– Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
