Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a competent and committed Nurse Practitioner (Non-medical Prescriber) to join our healthcare team in Brighton. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a patient-centered approach concerning general healthcare services to our diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct and comprehensive primary, preventive, and therapeutic medical care to our patients.

2. Execute comprehensive health assessments, determining the health status of patients.

3. Assess patient care needs, devising relevant plans, and managing healthcare delivery mechanisms.

4. Undertake specialized procedures like prescribing medicines (being a registered non-medical prescriber), suturing wounds, etc.

5. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver quality care services to patients.

6. Maintain a safe and clean working environment in compliance with healthcare procedures and regulations.

7. Evaluating patient’s response to health interventions and revising the care plan as needed.

8. Promote patient’s independence by establishing patient care goals, teaching patients and families to understand conditions and medications.

9. Uphold a multi-disciplinary approach by working with team members to meet patients’ physical and psychological needs.

Qualifications:

1. Registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) as a Nurse Practitioner.

2. Completed V300 Independent Prescribing Course.

3. Proven experience in a similar role.

4. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

5. Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.

6. Demonstration of clinical competence in prescribing.

7. Possession of excellent decision-making skills, sympathizing with patients and their families.

8. Comprehensive understanding of nursing procedures and safety regulations.
