Non-medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking an experienced, dedicated and passionate Non-Medical Prescriber to join our dynamic team in Ipswich, UK. The incumbent will play a pivotal role in delivering high standards of patient care.

Responsibilities:

– To work within your designated competencies and field of practice to assess, diagnose and treat a range of conditions

– To prescribe independently, or as part of a healthcare team, medicines, treatments and therapies, based on a comprehensive assessment of the patient’s needs

– To communicate effectively and professionally with patients, their families, colleagues, and other health care professionals 

– To actively contribute to the process of setting prescribing budgets and manage and monitor the prescribing budget appropriately

– To keep detailed records and ensure all prescribing activities are audited

– To maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in line with the latest clinical and professional guidelines

Requirements:

– Must possess valid Non-Medical Prescriber qualification

– Demonstrated experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber

– Excellent communication, organisation and decision-making skills

– Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team

– Maintenance of up-to-date continuous professional development evidence

– A thorough understanding of the legal, ethical and governance frameworks associated with prescribing.
