Non Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a competent and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our dynamic healthcare team located in Hereford, UK. The person needs to be well-qualified, capable of prescribing medications as a part of our client’s comprehensive treatment.

Responsibilities:

1. Managing and prescribing relevant medications as part of the clients’ treatment plan.

2. Regularly reviewing treatment plans and monitoring patient response to prescribed medications.

3. Providing education and information regarding medications to clients and carers.

4. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, sharing knowledge and expertise regarding medication management.

5. Complying with all regulatory, professional, and local guidance related to medication management.

6. Upholding the highest level of patient confidentiality and adhering to all GDPR protocols.

7. Assisting with clinical audits and research to continually improve our healthcare provision.

Requirements:

1. Registered Nursing qualification with a valid NMC PIN, or other relevant qualification (i.e., pharmacist).

2. Possess a recognised qualification in Non-Medical Prescribing.

3. Significant post-qualifying experience, particularly experience in prescribing medication within your clinical competence.

4. Good understanding and knowledge of the legal implications of non-medical prescribing.

5. Skilled in developing and reviewing care plans.

6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

7. High level of integrity and a passion for delivering patient-centered care.
