Non Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice is seeking a qualified and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber to join our professional team. The ideal candidate should hold the necessary qualification and licensure along with a deep understanding of medical conditions and treatment plans.

Responsibilities:

1. Independently prescribe and review medication for patients in line with the current service needs.

2. Effectively assess patients’ health and review their medical history.

3. Create effective and safe treatment plans within specified boundaries.

4. Rapidly respond to patients’ needs and adapt treatment plans accordingly.

5. Communicate with various members of the healthcare team to ensure consistency and quality of care.

6. Maintain accurate records and keep all licensed drugs locked and stored appropriately.

7. Advise patients about potential side effects and answer inquiries pertaining to medications.

8. Promote a wellness-based approach to medicine and encourage patients to adopt healthier lifestyles.

9. Stay updated with professional knowledge and participate in continuous professional development by attending educational workshops and reviewing professional publications.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Non-Medical Prescriber qualification.

2. Active registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) or other appropriate statutory regulatory body.

3. Previous experience in a healthcare environment is essential.

4. Excellent communication, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.

5. Knowledge of current medical procedures, practices, and regulations.

6. Proficient in maintaining professional medical records.

Please note that possession of a current clean driving license and access to a vehicle for business purposes is required.
