Non-medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our multidisciplinary team in Peckham, UK. The NMP will play a key role in providing patients with safe and effective medicines management. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in prescribing, diagnosing, and managing a variety of conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Assisting in patient consultations, providing expert advice, and carrying out physical examinations.

2. Prescribing necessary medicines within the practitioner’s competency and professional boundaries.

3. Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to manage patients’ needs.

4. Monitoring and evaluating patients’ responses to prescribed medications.

5. Ensuring timely medication reviews and adjustments whenever needed.

6. Identifying and managing potential adverse drug reactions.

7. Providing high-quality, evidence-based care while adhering to legal and ethical standards.

8. Participating in continuous professional development to keep updated with the latest practice.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Must be a UK registered nurse or pharmacist.

2. Postgraduate degree or equivalent accreditation as a Non-Medical Prescriber.

3. Proven experience as a Non-Medical Prescriber within the UK.

4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

5. Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.

6. Luxurious decision-making skills and a strong commitment to quality patient care.

7. Current membership of the prescribing professions’ regulatory body (NMC or GPhC).
