Non Medical Prescriber

seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking a qualified and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our multidisciplinary team. This is an exceptional opportunity for the right candidate to further their career in medical healthcare and work in a dynamic and supportive working environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment plans for patients across a range of clinical conditions within their competence.

2. Prescribe and review medication, considering the cost-effectiveness of the options, within the scope of practice, legislation and following organisational policies.

3. Diligently ensure that patient safety is maintained while prescribing, dispensing, or administrating medicines.

4. Provide high-quality clinical advice, referring patients to other healthcare professionals when necessary.

5. Actively participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, collaborating with multidisciplinary colleagues for case management.

6. Ensure the maintenance of accurate, comprehensive clinical records, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with data protection regulations.

7. Remain updated with developments in relevant legislative changes, prescribing guidelines and medicines management.

Qualifications:

1. Registered Nurse or Pharmacist or Allied Healthcare Professional with valid registration.

2. Must possess Non-Medical Prescriber Qualification with the corresponding regulatory body.

3. Demonstrable post-registration experience in a relevant field.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Proven ability to work in a team and independently.

6. Ability to manage and prioritize a varied workload effectively.
