Non-Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team in London.

Roles and Responsibilities:

1. Assessing patient health and discussing treatment options.

2. Prescribing necessary medications outside the field of anesthetic and surgical medications.

3. Providing patients with detailed instructions regarding their prescribed medications.

4. Monitoring patient health and response to medications.

5. Evaluating side effects and managing any potential drug interactions or allergies.

6. Collaborating with other healthcare practitioners and referring patients when necessary.

7. Ensuring adherence to laws and guidelines in prescribing medicines.

8. Keeping accurate, updated, and confidential patient records.

9. Participating in continuous educational opportunities to stay abreast of the latest advancements in non-medical prescribing field.

10. Maintaining awareness and understanding of current health issues related to pharmaceutical treatment.

Qualifications and Experience:

1. Successful completion of a Non-Medical Prescribing course 2. Valid registration with NMC, GPhC, or HCPC 3. Minimum of two years working in the role of a non-medical prescriber.

4. Extensive knowledge of therapeutic, generic, and brand drugs.

5. Comprehensive understanding of legislation and ethical issues surrounding Non-Medical Prescribers.

1. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

2. High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

3. Ability to make sound decisions under pressure.

4. A strong commitment to patient safety and patient-focused care.

Working Hours:

Normal working hours will be maintained unless specified otherwise. Any changes in the work timetable will be notified in advance.
