Non Medical Prescriber

Seven Criminal Justice are looking for a dedicated Non Medical Prescriber with an Independent Prescriber qualification and ideally you will have experience supporting individuals with drug and alcohol issues. Flexible shifts and full or part-time hours to accommodate your personal needs and promote work-life balance. This role has been created while we recruit. Maximum of 37 hours per week

Responsibilities:

– Conducting patient assessments, prescribing medications, and providing clinical management to patients.

– Liaising with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

– Maintaining accurate patient records and providing other administrative duties as required.

– Continuously monitor and review prescribing practices to ensure they are in line with national guidelines and best practices.

– Educating patients and their families about the medications prescribed and any associated side effects.

Qualifications and Requirements:

– A System One Smart card

– A qualified Non-Medical Prescriber with a valid registration with the relevant professional regulatory body.

– A post-graduate qualification appropriate for non-medical prescribing.

– Prior experience of working in a primary care setting is preferred.

– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on patient-centered care.

– The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The successful candidate can expect a competitive rate of pay of £55-£58 per hour, along with a flexible part-time working schedule.
