Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP)

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking an experienced and dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) to join our healthcare team in Wokingham. The successful candidate will be part of a team providing a high level of clinical care to our service users, working in accordance with UK regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

1. Assess patient health through interviews and physical examinations.

2. Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.

3. Act in a consultative capacity to healthcare professionals and maintaining records as required by law.

4. Participate in periodic staff meetings and in-service training sessions.

5. Maintain current knowledge of advancements in pharmacology and related sectors.

6. Communicate with and counsel patients on their health issues and possible treatments.

7. Manage patients’ drug therapies following agreed protocols.

Qualifications:

1. Valid Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) qualification.

2. Registered with relevant UK governing body (e.g., Nursing and Midwifery Council, General Pharmaceutical Council).

3. Proven experience in a similar role.

4. Extensive clinical knowledge and ability to demonstrate critical thinking and decision-making abilities.

5. Excellent interpersonal, organisational, and communication skills.

6. Current valid DBS check.
