Recovery Coordinator

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking an experienced and dedicated Recovery Coordinator to join our team in Kings Lynn. This individual will play a critical role in helping clients navigate their recovery processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop, implement, and monitor individual client care and treatment plans.

2. Coordinate and oversee all facets of the recovery process, including detoxification, rehabilitation, and aftercare planning.

3. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams, including doctors, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and effective recovery programs are provided.

4. Provide clients with information and resources to understand their conditions and the recovery process.

5. Advise and support clients and their families throughout the recovery process.

6. Maintain client progress notes and other relevant documentation in line with regulatory guidelines.

7. Serve as a client advocate, ensuring that client’s rights are upheld, and that they receive the best possible care.

8. Review and evaluate client progress, adjusting treatment plans and recovery strategies as necessary.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience in a healthcare or social work setting, particularly dealing with addiction and recovery services.

2. Relevant qualification such as degree or diploma in social work, counselling, psychology, nursing, or related field.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to coordinate the activities of multiple team members towards common goals.

5. A deep understanding of the recovery process and the challenges faced by recovering individuals.

6. The skills to sensitively and effectively handle difficult or emotionally charged situations.

7. Familiarity with local resources and networks available to recovering individuals.

8. Flexibility to work various shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
