Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice is currently seeking to hire a highly motivated, empathic, and dedicated Recovery Worker to join our dynamic team in Surrey.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide one-on-one compassionate and supportive care to individuals recovering from substance abuse, mental health issues or other forms of crises.

2. Conduct regular assessments to understand the progress of the client’s recovery and adapt plans accordingly.

3. Develop constructive recovery programs aligned with clients’ needs, encouraging them to participate in therapeutic and recreational activities.

4. Offer guidance and emotional support to clients, enabling them to develop their personal, social & domestic skills.

5. Liaise with other professionals, such as doctors and social workers, to ensure the delivery of coordinated, holistic care.

6. Promote health, well-being, independence and personal development amongst clients through various forms of therapy and counselling.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in social care, counselling, or related field is necessary.

2. Current registration with a UK relevant professional body.

3. Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care. (Desirable) 4. Demonstrated knowledge of recovery-focused services.

5. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills.

3. Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.

4. Demonstrable ability to treat clients with respect and dignity at all times.

Working hours: Full time, including some weekends and evenings as required.
