Recovery Worker

  • Salary: £20 - £24 per hour

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a dedicated and empathetic Recovery Worker to join our team in Ealing (UK). The worker will provide high-quality care and support to individuals recovering from physical or mental health issues, substance abuse, or those navigating through the criminal justice system.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and supporting personal recovery plans.

2. Regular interaction with service users to encourage progress and self-discovery.

3. Providing support in the management of physical and wellness activities.

4. Liaising with multi-disciplinary teams and partnership agencies in order to provide the most comprehensive service possible.

5. Delivering a range of therapeutic and supportive sessions following training.

6. Identifying risk and developing risk management plans.

7. Maintaining accurate and timely records of all interactions and interventions.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Ideally have experience within the health or social work sectors, particularly in addiction recovery.

2. Previous experience working with disadvantaged or vulnerable individuals.

3. Skilled at building relationships with service users and stakeholders.

4. Ability to handle stressful situations and maintain a calm demeanor.

5. Strong organisational and communication skills.

6. Must be willing to engage in ongoing training and development.

4. Resilient with an ability to manage stress and self-care.
