Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Recovery Worker to join our team in Preston, UK.

Responsibilities:

1. Deliver effective and responsive substance misuse services to clients and their families, ensuring their safety is preserved.

2. Conduct assessments and formulate personalized recovery plans for clients.

3. Assist in the provision of one-to-one and group therapy sessions.

4. Deliver harm reduction advice and health promotion to clients.

5. Maintain accurate client records, ensuring information is up-to-date and confidential.

6. Work in collaboration with other agencies, ensuring a coordinated approach to client care.

7. Continuously provide emotional and practical support to clients throughout their recovery journey.

8. Participate actively in regular supervision and continue professional development.

Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care or equivalent.

2. Previous experience in substance misuse, mental health, or a related field.

3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

4. A non-judgmental, patient, and supportive approach.

5. A sound understanding of confidentiality and data protection laws.

6. A valid UK driving license and the willingness to travel as needed.

7. Proficient in using digital tools and software for record keeping and reporting.

8. The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends if required.
