Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are searching for a compassionate, dedicated Recovery Worker to join our team in Lytham St Anne’s.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide emotional and practical support to individuals suffering from various addictions to aid their recovery process.

2. Develop and implement personalized recovery plans.

3. Facilitate individual counselling sessions and group therapy sessions.

4. Monitor the progress of clients and make necessary revisions to the recovery plans.

5. Assist clients in identifying community resources and services to further support the recovery process.

6. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.

7. Maintain accurate client records in accordance with organizational policies and data protection regulations.

8. Participate in continuous training and personal development activities for professional growth.

9. Report and escalate issues when necessary.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field. Any evidence of higher qualifications will be considered favourably.

2. Previous experience as a Recovery Worker or similar role in the mental health or addiction field.

3. Proficient understanding of addiction theories and counselling techniques.

4. Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.

5. Solid organisational, multi-tasking and problem-solving abilities.

6. Strong empathy and patience with the ability to maintain professional boundaries.

7. High level of respect for client confidentiality.

8. Flexibility to work at different times, including evenings and weekends if required.

9. Applicant must have a right to work in the UK.
