Remote Recovery Worker

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals to join our team as Recovery Workers with a remote working arrangement. This role requires an individual who can assist clients with mental health conditions and substance misuse problems in their journey towards recovery.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide practical and emotional support to clients struggling with mental health or substance misuse.

2. Develop personalised recovery plans for clients, setting goals and objectives.

3. Carry out risk assessments and provide crisis management when needed.

4. Liaise with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure optimum client care.

5. Encourage clients to engage in therapeutic activities, such as group work or one-to-one sessions.

6. Prepare reports and maintain accurate client records.

7. Attend regular team meetings and trainings.

8. Comply with all data protection and confidentiality regulations.

Skills and Qualifications:

1. A minimum of a Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care or similar field.

2. Experience working with individuals with substance misuse problems and/or mental health conditions.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to relate to people from a wide range of backgrounds.

5. Strong decision-making abilities and problem-solving skills.

6. Ability to work independently but also as part of a remote team.

7. Proficient in the use of digital tools for communication and record keeping.

8. Must possess up-to-date DBS check.
