Sexual Health Nurse

Seven Criminal Justice is actively seeking a dedicated and professional Sexual Health Nurse to join our dynamic healthcare team.

Working closely with medical professionals, the individual will be primarily responsible for caring for patients with various sexual health concerns.

The Rate of Pay for this role is £30-£38 Per Hour 

Responsibilities:
– Provide holistic, client-centered sexual health advice and treatment within the guidelines of professional nursing practice.
– Administer testing and treatments for various sexually transmitted diseases.
– Counsel patients on birth control options and other questions related to sexual health.
– Coordinate closely with doctors and other multi-disciplinary professionals to facilitate optimal patient care.
– Conduct educational sessions to raise awareness of sexual health, risk factors, prevention methods, and health-seeking behaviours.
– Comply strictly with health and safety protocols, ensuring the privacy and dignity of patients is maintained at all times.
– Assist with reception duties and manage appointment schedules when necessary.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with legal requirements and hospital policies.

Qualifications:
– A registered nurse with a current PIN and the right to work in the UK.
– Relevant post-registration experience in sexual health nursing.
– Knowledge of current sexual health issues and treatment options.
– Substantial evidence of continuous professional development.
– Proven ability to work effectively both in a team and independently.
– Excellent communication, empathy and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to handle sensitive information with utmost confidentiality.
– Demonstrates commitment to high professional ethical standards.
