Substance Misuse Doctor

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking an experienced and compassionate Substance Misuse Doctor to join our team in Brighton, East Sussex. The preferred candidate will provide comprehensive medical evaluation and treatment to patients struggling with addiction and substance misuse disorders.

The rate of pay is £80-£150 Per Hour 

Responsibilities:
– Evaluate patients and create personalized treatment plans based on their addiction or substance misuse.
– Provide detox medication treatment services to patients as deemed necessary.
– Consult with other professionals to ensure an integrated and comprehensive approach to patient care.
– Regularly review and update patient treatment plans.
– Conduct follow-up meetings with patients and monitor their recovery progress.
– Assist in patient counselling and therapy sessions.
– Maintain patient confidentiality according to UK laws and regulations.
– Participate in regular training and professional development.

Requirements:
– Degree in Medicine and a registered member of the General Medical Council (GMC).
– Experience in Substance Misuse or Addiction related fields.
– Knowledge of prescribing relevant medication for detoxification.
– Able to engage effectively with staff population and to work in a multi-disciplinary setting.
– Deep understanding of substance misuse issues and treatment methods.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Commitment to continuous professional development.
– Clear understanding of ethical and confidentiality obligations.
