Support Worker/Recovery Coordinator

Seven Criminal Justice are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker/Recovery Coordinator to join our team. The prospective candidate will focus on delivering personalised care packages to individuals living with various mental health conditions, ensuring they live fulfilling lives, maintain their independence, and achieve their personal goals.

Responsibilities:

1. Assisting with the planning, monitoring, and coordination of care and support packages.

2. Assisting service users in the day-to-day tasks, ensuring they maintain independence.

3. Facilitating community and social access, including any necessary travel arrangements.

4. Helping service users to engage with therapy and recovery, promoting the development of coping strategies.

5. Liaising with family members, and other healthcare professionals effectively to best support client’s ongoing needs.

6. Documenting and communicating client progress to pertinent parties.

7. Adherence to all health and safety guidelines, policies and procedures 8. Engagement with team meetings and individual supervision sessions.

Qualifications:

1. Previous experience in a similar role is desirable.

2. NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health & Social Care, or equivalent.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. Ability to work on a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and night shifts.

5. Must have a strong desire to support and empower individuals.

6. Knowledge of mental health conditions and how they may impact individuals’ lives.

7. Current UK driver’s license is desirable but not required.
