Youth Justice Practitioner

Youth Justice Practitioner | £19.91 P/H | Wakefield

We are looking for an enthusiastic, dynamic and adaptable individual who is passionate about providing excellent youth support and the delivery of clean safe care.

This is a full-time position working 9-5 every week, with a contract length of 3-6 months (likely to extend).

Requirements

– Please note, we require with at least 1-2 years experience in a previous similar role.

Responsibilities

– To undertake comprehensive assessments, plans and interventions with children at risk of offending behaviour and involved in offending behaviour

– To deliver effective management and supervision of a caseload of children involved in, or at risk of entering, the youth justice system

– To maintain a whole family approach, including support to parents and carers

– To work alongside partner services and professionals across the district and beyond to involve children and families in local services and connect them to sustainable support
