Seven Education is looking for an SEN Caseworker at Reading Borough Council

The role:

The role is for a skilled plan writer to support with processing a backlog of annual reviews which have built up over a matter of months. The post holder will be expected to work through the annual review process completely from sending out the initial letter with the proposed amended plan to finalising the plan including carrying out liaison with parents and other professionals where necessary. They will work with the Permanent SEN Amendments Officer who will allocate and oversee the work they produce. This is a critical area of work for the team and we will be collecting monthly feedback on progress in clearing the backlog. The candidate will need to have extensive knowledge at case officer level of the SEND legislation around the processing of annual reviews.
