Children’s Playworker

Seven Social Care are looking for a Permanent Children’s Play Worker in an After School Care Club in Kirkintilloch.

The role:

Your role is to support Management in the directed planning and implementation of the daily activities of the Club ensuring children’s needs are met. You will be required to support the Manager in ensuring that all relevant records are maintained and attend staff meetings and training sessions as required. You will undertake other duties and responsibilities of an equivalent nature as determined by the Manager. You must be aware of and implement national and local guidelines in order to safeguard and promote the well-being of children.

Applicant Requirements:

• Qualifications: SVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Childcare or Playworker Qualification
• Experience: 2+ years working in a similar role.
• Compliance: Up to date PVG and SSSC registration .
• Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
• Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
