Merton – Payroll Manager – South Thames Colleges Group

Seven Education is looking for an Payroll Manager at Merton College

PURPOSE OF POST:

The post holder will manage the operational delivery of the payroll services for the Group, ensuring that each stage of the payroll is appropriately administered, and that accurate and timely payroll transactions are processed for staff. He/she will also work with the Head of Payroll Services to develop payroll and system reporting capacity in response to the needs identified by each organisation. He/she will deputise in the absence of the Head of Payroll Services

Key Responsibilities:

      Support the Head of Payroll Services with management of the operational delivery of the payroll services for the Group, including work allocation and line management of Payroll staff.

To undertake actions within the Cascade system to process an accurate and timely monthly payroll for the Group.

To monitor the interface between Cascade HR and Cascade Payroll to ensure that data entered by HR into Cascade HR is correctly and appropriately integrated and processed by Cascade Payroll.

Liaise with colleagues in the HR team to ensure the accurate flow of information in respect of staff changes, including new starters and leavers.

GENERAL DUTIES

      Participate in professional development and undertake training as required.

Propose any ideas that may help to promote and extend the Groups reputation, and enhance the quality of the services that it provides to clients.
