Nursery Practitioner

Seven Education has an opportunity available as a Nursery Practitioner in Brent, Greater London.

The contracted dates are 23/01/2023 – 23/04/2023, with the hours 10:00 – 18:00 (36 Hours)

The pay rates are £13.39 PAYE or £17.08 Umbrella

Job Description

We are in need of someone who is able to cover sickness and annual leave as needed. In this role you will be working with Nursery staff to provide a safe, caring and stimulating environment for the children. You will work with our Nursery pupils to aid them in their learning, showing a good understanding of young children’s needs and the Curriculum. You will have the experience of and be able to demonstrate the potential to deliver excellence, working within an already effective team. 

Responsibilities

• Assist and oversee activities for 2-5 year olds
• Strong abilities to work as part of a team
• Engage and interact with children
• Assist staff in setting up activities for the day
• Support children with hygiene
• Support children at mealtime
• To follow instruction from Deputy Manager or Nursery Manager/Senco

Requirements 

• We require staff to hold a minimum of level 2 full and relevant childcare qualification. Have a good working knowledge of the EYFs and how this support our children’s learning and development. Have a knowledge of safeguarding and the importance of this in regards our practice. 

• A desirable would be they have a current paediatric first aid certificate.
