School’s Financial Support Officer

Seven Education is looking for an School’s Financial Support Officer at London Borough of Harrow Council.

The role:

To provide financial support services to schools to ensure high standards of financial management are maintained.  

The School’s Financial Support Officers (3 posts) provide a comprehensive financial support service, including a range of budget related accountancy services, directly to a number of schools as set out in a Service Level Agreement. 

The post holder is responsible for providing financial services to Schools under an SLA agreement. The post holder must be customer focused and deliver high quality services that are valued by the Schools. 

Key Responsibilities:

To ensure compliance with your responsibilities as laid out in the council’s health and safety policy and take an active role in promoting a positive health and safety culture. 

To promote and participate in the council’s investors in people (IIP) and individual performance appraisal and development (IPAD) initiatives and information management best practice. 

To ensure compliance with the council’s information security policies and maintain confidentiality
