Job Title: Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Review Officer
Location: County Hall Worcester
Contract Type: 3-month contract
Pay Rate: £337 per day via Umbrella

Do you possess the skills and expertise to contribute to the improvement of SEND provision? If so, Seven Education have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a SEND Review Officer on a temporary basis.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting thorough reviews: Assess and evaluate the effectiveness of SEND provision in educational settings, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and best practices.
  2. Collaboration with stakeholders: Engage with schools, parents, and other relevant stakeholders to gather information, understand concerns, and facilitate effective communication.
  3. Data analysis: Analyze data related to SEND provision, identifying trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
  4. Report writing: Prepare clear, concise, and accurate reports summarizing findings, recommendations, and action plans.
  5. Providing guidance: Offer guidance and support to educational settings to enhance the quality of their SEND provision, promoting inclusivity and positive outcomes for children and young people.
  6. Keeping abreast of legislation: Stay informed about relevant SEND legislation, policies, and best practices, ensuring that recommendations align with current standards.

Requirements:

  • A relevant degree or professional qualification in education, special education, or a related field.
  • Substantial experience working within the field of special educational needs and disabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Understanding of SEND legislation and current educational policies.
