Seven Education is looking for Senior Teaching Assistant in Sheffield at Lower Meadow Primary Academy

The Role

A Senior Teaching Assistant required for 3 x days per week asap to work within the Integrated Resource within Lower Meadow Primary School for the Service for Deaf & Hearing Impaired Children.

To work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

BSL qualified if possible, experience of working in a primary setting and SEN, but not essential.

Main Purpose and Responsibilities

• To work under the guidance of specialist teaching staff and within an agreed system of supervision, to implement work & care programmes with individuals/groups, in or out of the classroom. This could include those requiring detailed and specialist knowledge in particular areas and will involve assisting the teacher in the whole planning cycle and the management/ preparation of resources. Staff may also supervise whole groups occasionally during the short-term absence of teachers.
