Seven Education is looking for an Senior Marketing Manager

The role:

 

  • post will manage the marketing activities for South Thames Colleges Group, namely Carshalton College, Kingston College, Merton College and South Thames College. The post holder is responsible for devising innovative approaches to promotion and recruitment, implementing, monitoring and evaluating these activities. Line management of all marketing staff across the group and across four sites, determining priorities based on Group objectives and resources available. Working with the Head of Marketing and Admissions on developing marketing strategies, closely liaising with Curriculum Leads /Heads of School to ensure all stakeholder needs are met.

Main Purposes and Responsibilities

· Work with the Head of Marketing and Admissions to devise marketing strategies and implement an annual schedule of marketing activities.

· Plan and implement activities that ensure the Group’s recruitment targets are met, including promotional and advertising campaigns across multi-media platforms – online, print, outdoor, broadcast and social media.

· Take responsibility for the production and dissemination of marketing materials as appropriate – both off and on line such as prospectuses, fliers, advertising and campaigns, website, digital and social marketing, press releases, and newsletters – ensuring adherence to schedules which maximise their impact.

· Take responsibility for ensuring consistency of brand, message, tone and feel throughout the Group’s marketing communications as appropriate, including copy writing and proofing.

· Take responsibility for the college website, and lead together with the Head of Marketing and Admissions, on the future development of a Group website

· To manage the online, digital and social media channels in accordance with the Group’s policy.

· Manage the Group’s public relations function, developing and maintaining links with media and other agencies, thus ensuring South Thames Colleges Group is positively promoted within the community. Ensure a seamless press release and media relations process is ongoing within the team.

· Take responsibility for recruitment events throughout the year such as Open Days, external exhibitions (e.g. UCAS fairs, IMAT, employer engagement events and school liaison events.

  • To foster and manage effective relationships with local, regional and national stakeholders, agencies and marketing networks.
