Occupational Therapist – Community PO1 – Leeds City Council

The role:

Qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist required to work within Leeds City Council Recovery Service.

The Occupational Therapy team is based across 3 Recovery Hubs ( Community Care Beds) and the post will be initially based at the Recovery Hub@South Leeds in Beeston. The Occupational Therapists are key to the recovery journey of customers completing assessments including moving and handling, functional and environmental assessments, providing rehabilitation, planning and supporting safe and sustainable discharges. The Occupational Therapists manage their own caseload, always working closely together and with the physiotherapy and wider multi-disciplinary team.

This post will be based inn the Recovery Hub full-time Monday to Friday 8am-4pm. The permanent Occupational Therapy team work a rota across 7 days between 7.30am and 8pm.
