Seven Healthcare are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to provide exceptional care within Newport, UK. The RGN will carry out nursing duties across various functional areas such as aged care, community health, emergency, operating theatre, acute/post-acute care and medical wards.

Responsibilities:

1. Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.

2. Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating patient care after identifying physical and psychosocial needs.

3. Maintain patient records accurately and ensure that confidentiality is maintained throughout the entire process.

4. Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide the highest standard of care for patients and their families.

5. Responsible for the management and supervision of care workers to ensure that all care and treatment are carried out efficiently.

6. Serve as the communication link between patients, family members and the healthcare team.

Requirements:

1. Valid registration with the NMC as an RGN.

2. Extensive professional experience in general nursing is required.

3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

4. The ability to work collaboratively within a team.

5. Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks.

6. Committed to continuous professional development and willing to undertake further training if required.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping people and the ability to be empathetic and compassionate. They should be patient-oriented and maintain strong professional standards, practicing patient advocacy with respect for individuality and dignity.
