Seven Healthcare are seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to join our professional healthcare team based in Cardiff, UK. As an RMN, your role will involve assisting in the delivery of top-quality mental health services to a variety of patients, focusing on patient recovery, maintenance of health, and enhancement of quality of life.

Responsibilities:

1. implement assigned care plans and administer medication for patients in a safe and accurate manner.

2. Support and educate patients, as well as their families, to understand the condition, medication and leads to promote the mental health recovery.

3. Provide individualized patient care and develop therapeutic relationships with patients.

4. Ability to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care according to individual healthcare needs.

5. Safeguard patients and maintain a safe, comfortable and therapeutic environment for them at all times.

6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

7. Maintain accurate, complete, and timely documentation related to patient’s medical information.

8. Ensure strict compliance with the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) code of conduct at all times.

Qualifications:

1. Be a Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) with a valid NMC PIN.

2. Experience in mental health nursing is essential.

3. Ability to work as part of a team and individually.

4. Good understanding of the Mental Health Act.

5. Demonstrable communication skills – both written and verbal.

6. Have a positive, patient-focused mindset, with the ability to engage well with patients and their families.

7. The ability to remain calm under pressure and manage stress effectively.
