Seven Healthcare are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to work in Swansea. You will have the opportunity to work in a challenging and rewarding role with high degrees of autonomy and responsibility.

Responsibilities:

1. To provide high standards of nursing care and to ensure patient safety at all times.

2. To assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care for the patient group consistent with their validated care pathway.

3. To supervise and mentor the care team to ensure the delivery of high-quality care.

4. To foster good relationships with patients’ families and friends to bring about trust and promote their involvement in care and treatment.

5. Serve as an advocate for patient rights and needs.

6. To work within the NMC Code of Professional Conduct and the Mental Health Act.

Requirements:

1. Must hold a degree in Nursing (BSc/MSc in Nursing) and be NMC Registered.

2. At least 2 years of post-qualification experience, preferably within a mental health setting.

3. Excellent understanding of the Mental Health Act.

4. Strong decision-making skills and the ability to deal with emergencies effectively.

5. Ability to build rapport with patients and their families.

6. Strong verbal and written communication skills, with good interpersonal skills.

7. Proven resilience to work within challenging environments.

8. Availability for flexible working hours (including nights and weekends).
