Senior Occupational Therapist

  • Salary: £40 - £40 per hour
  • Type: Temporary / Full Time

Seven Social Care are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join our team in the Hammersmith & Fulham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for improving and maintaining the physical, cognitive, and social ability of patients to carry out daily tasks.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Conducting comprehensive patient assessments to understand their condition and requirements.

2. Developing personalized treatment plans that cater to individual patient’s needs and goals.

3. Conducting regular patient evaluations to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.

4. Guiding and training patients in exercises and activities to improve and maintain their abilities.

5. Educating patients’ families and caregivers about patient condition and how to assist them.

6. Maintaining departmental policies and procedures, and ensuring compliance with legal regulations.

7. Communicating effectively with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient treatment plans are effectively carried out.

8. Participating in professional development activities to stay updated with recent occupational therapy practices.

Qualification & Skills:

1. Degree in Occupational Therapy or equivalent.

2. Current registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC) in the UK.

3. A minimum of 5 years clinical experience post-qualification.

4. Proven record of providing high quality patient care.

5. Excellent knowledge of principles and practices in occupational therapy.

6. Ability to create and implement comprehensive patient care plans.

7. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

8. Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills.

9. Evidence of ongoing professional development.
