Pharmacy Dispenser

Seven Medical is currently seeking a professional and dedicated Pharmacy Dispenser to join a team in Sheffield, South Yorkshire. 

The rate of pay is £14.84 Per Hour.

Responsibilities:
– Accurately dispensing prescribed medication to patients.
– Providing health advice and education to patients.
– Assisting the pharmacist in managing inventory of drugs and supplies.
– Ensuring compliance with all relevant pharmaceutical legislation.
– Preparing and pricing prescriptions by recording necessary patient information.
– Maintaining patient records and respecting confidentiality.
– Assisting with sales advice within the store.
– Offering guidance on over-the-counter sales.

Requirements:
– NVQ Level 2 in Pharmacy Service Skills or equivalent.
– A registered, or working towards registration, with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
– At least one year of experience working in a community pharmacy is desirable.
– Strong knowledge of medication dispensing procedures.
– Excellent customer service and communication skills.
– High attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy.
– The ability to work in a team or independently.
– Willingness to participate in continuous professional development.
