117 Review Team Social Worker

Seven Social Care are looking for a dedicated and empathetic 117 Review Team Social Worker to expand our team. The chosen candidate will deliver the highest standards of care, support, and guidance for those who have been sectioned under the Mental Health Act.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Developing and delivering personalized care plans.

2. Coordinating with therapists, psychiatrists, and other medical professionals.

3. Conducting continual reviews of the service users under the Section 117 aftercare.

4. Advocating for the well-being of patients and ensuring their needs are met.

5. Applying for funds and resources when needed.

6. Providing a source of support to patients and their families.

7. Maintaining patient files and writing reports.

8. Attending and contributing constructively to team meetings.

9. Adhering to laws, guidelines, and policies related to social care.

Requirements:

1. A qualified social worker with a minimum DipSW, BA Hons SW, CQSW, CSS or equivalent.

2. Must be registered with the Social Work England.

3. Demonstrable experience as a social worker preferably with Section 117 aftercare.

4. Knowledge of current legislations and policies in social care sector.

5. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

6. Strong assessment, organizational and planning skills.

7. Ability to work well within a team and independently.

8. Able to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.

9. An empathetic nature with the flexibility to adapt in challenging situations.
