Urgent resource is required within BAS to provide panel administration to Children’s Safeguarding and Social Work teams supporting statutory meetings, covering areas such as Fostering, Child Protection, Safeguarding and Placements. The nature of the information dealt with is confidential and often sensitive and sometimes upsetting.

The agency worker(s) must be a fast learner and competent minute taker, able to organise meetings liaise with the chair of the panel and all other stakeholders. They must be able to listen and confidently interpret complex information and document this utilising MS Word accurately and in a timely manner. They must also be able to deal with confidential and sensitive information, so therefore resilient and highly professional. All candidates must be educated to GCSE grade c or equivalent in English due to the interpretation of spoken word and documentation of information work required.

It is a hybrid role however there are no set days/times in the office. Candidates need to be flexible based on when the meetings are booked in. Meetings can handle sensitive information so candidates are aware, and they should have experience of accurately keeping records, a good grasp of the English language and some experience of minute taking (no set amount of experience, the more the better). Flexible start and finish times based on when meetings are held.

Part time hours are not available for this role.

There are different departments that candidates can work in, CV’s will be matched to the relevant department based on experience, this including working hours will all be discussed with candidates on the initial call from the client.
