Adult Social Worker

Seven Social Care are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Adult Social Worker to join our team in Barnet.

Responsibilities:

1. Developing and assessing care and support plans for adults in need that promote empowerment, independence, and safe community living.

2. Work alongside families, carers, and individuals to provide assistance, guidance and support.

3. Effectively manage a workload involving a variety of cases such as safeguarding, mental capacity, and wellbeing.

4. Organisation and participation in multi-disciplinary meetings including case reviews.

5. Liaising with partner agencies to ensure collaborative working towards positive outcomes.

6. Demonstrating a comprehensive understanding and working knowledge of a range of relevant legal frameworks.

7. Maintaining records accordingly with electronic case management systems.

8. Providing therapy, services, and programs designed to promote physical and mental health.

Qualifications:

1. A degree in social work or equivalent qualification.

2. Must be registered with Social Work England.

3. Previous experience in an Adult Social Work role.

4. Strong knowledge of relevant legislation for adult social care.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate nature.

6. Ability to work effectively in a team as well as independently.

7. An understanding of cultural and language differences in the community.

8. Ability to manage time and caseloads effectively.

9. A valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
