Adult Social Worker

Seven Social Care currently seeking an experienced Adult Social Worker to join our dynamic and supportive team based in Walsall, UK. In this role, you will majorly work with adults within our community to support the wellbeing and safety, ensuring positive and person-centred social care.

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Provide high-quality and person-centered care to vulnerable adults, promoting independence and wellbeing.

2. Conduct assessments of individuals in need, ensuring care plans are put in place and regularly reviewed.

3. Respond to referrals and carry out safeguarding investigations when necessary.

4. Collaborate with healthcare professionals and partner organisations to provide holistic support to service users.

5. Keep records transparent and up-to-date with a high level of accuracy.

6. Being aware of legislation, policies and procedures relevant to adult social care.

7. Advocate for service users’ rights and needs, bringing to attention any circumstances where well-being is at risk.

Requirements:

1. Qualified to a degree level in Social Work.

2. Registration with the Social Work England (or equivalent body).

3. Significant experience in adult social care with a strong knowledge of relevant legislations.

4. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential and sensitive information.

5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

6. Ability to work flexibly and handle crises effectively.
