Advanced Practitioner – Social worker

Seven Social Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Advanced Practitioner Social Worker to join our team in Walsall, UK. This position offers the suitable candidate a chance to contribute to the welfare of individuals, families, and groups within our local community.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage high complex cases, undertaking a range of comprehensive and detailed assessments in line with service and legislative requirements.

2. Develop and implement highly specialized treatment plans based on each client’s unique needs and strengths.

3. Partner with clients to develop manageable goals and provide ongoing evaluation and adjustment of these care plans.

4. Provide specialised advice, guidance, support and training to less experienced social workers and support staff.

5. Review, interpret and integrate complex, multi-source data to contribute to service planning, delivery and development.

6. Develop and maintain effective relationships with individuals, families and carers, working in collaboration to assess and engage support networks, while ensuring the voice of the service user is central to service development.

7. Comply with safeguarding procedures and protocols, ensuring all vulnerable users are protected from potential harm.

8. Actively participate in regular supervision and annual performance appraisals, as well as undertake any necessary training for professional development.

9. Represent and advocate for the social work profession by maintaining a high level of professional and ethical standards.

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Social Work or equivalent.

2. Registration with Social Work England.

3. Minimum of 5 years of social work experience, preferably within a similar community and capacity.

4. Strong understanding and knowledge of relevant UK legislations and safeguarding protocols.

5. Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to develop strong relations with service users and partners.

6. Ability to manage multiple high-complexity cases simultaneously.

7. Expert skills in analysis, excellent decision making and team leadership.

8. Enhanced DBS Check.
