Advanced Practitioner – Social worker

Seven Social Care is looking for a Advanced Practitioner – Social worker at Walsall Council

The role:

To line manage social workers and social care facilitators, provide formal supervision every 4 weeks and informal support on a daily basis looking at case load management, learning and development and health and welfare.

Have a good understanding of the Care Act 2014, MCA 2005 and strengths based practice to ensure the staff  are following their duties and embedding the strength based approach in their work.

To quality check assessments, support plans and reviews to ensure they meet our statuary duties. 

Have a good understanding of the safeguarding principles and procedures so they can support staff who are completing section 42 enquires and take on the role of enquiry manager.

Work along side and support other advanced practitioners in the team. Be able to use relevant IT systems to records case notes, management decisions and allocate work.
