The Vacancy could be based in any of the depots in Gloucestershire, but there may be a need to travel to any other location in Gloucestershire.

Work as part of the arboriculture team would be to inspect trees on a regular basis, and respond to enquiries in a timely manner.

Current UK Full driver licence

HGV Class 1 and / or 2 desirable

Ideally at least 1 year experience in arboriculture inspections

You will receive training on Health and Safety / Risk assessment awareness

Knowledge of trees and issues with tree diseases

Knowledge of health and safety practices and how to do risk assessments

–    Team player, prepared to contribute and participate fully in team work

–    Prepared to work varying hours to meet the needs of the business

–    Prepared to develop and undertake relevant training and qualifications

Duties:

–    manage the inspections and maintenance of the highway tree assets countywide

–    inspection of trees based on planned programme of works

–    dealing with customer enquires around reactive inspections required

–    Working in the arboriculture team
