Architectural Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for an Architectural officer to fill a fantastic temporary role in Darlington. The pay rate will be £20.85 on a 3 month contract.

The role:
To carry out the design and project management of a wide range of architectural schemes and contracts, including working for in-house Clients on schools, housing, and many of the Council’s portfolio of buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

Liaise with and provide effective advice to Council officers, Members, bodies, and organisations regarding relevant issues.

Keep the Building Design Manager and Head of Capital Projects fully appraised of issues that may be raised through the design and construction of schemes.

Fulfil the role of ‘Principal Designer’ under the Construction, Design and Management Regulations 2015 on Council projects, as directed by the Building Design Manager and Head of Capital Projects.

Applicant Requirements:

• Experience: 1+ years relevant experience.
• Compliance: Up to date DBS.
• Hours: 37 hours p/w.
