Brokerage Officer

Seven Social Care is looking for a Brokerage officer to fill a fantastic temporary role in Darlington. The pay rate will be £13.67 on a 3-month contract.
The role:
To source Care Packages to meet assessed needs for Adult Social Care, develop and maintain information on local care providers’ availability including all associated financial and administrative tasks. 

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate adherence to Departmental Financial Procedures, Regulations and Debt Recovery Procedures, contractual procedures, Adult Social Care legislation and the Data Protection Act 1998.

To source and arrange care packages from a range of providers, external and in house; including complex packages of care and making required arrangements for the commencement of the package of care, ensuring all stakeholders are kept informed.

Ensure that relevant signatures and contracts are put in place to enable effective payment of providers and charging of clients.

Ensure that relevant agreements are completed and put in place in a timely manner, in line with contracts to enable the effective payment of providers and charging of clients.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Experience: 1+ years relevant experience.
  • Compliance: Up to date DBS.
  • Hours: 37 hours p/w.
