Building Control Surveyor

Seven Social Care is looking for a Building Control Surveyor to fill an exclusive opportunity in Darlington.
We have opportunities available for up to 12 months and the pay is £24.38 per hour.
The Hiring manager is looking for someone who can work 37 hours a week (various shifts available from Monday to Sunday).

The role:
To be responsible for providing professional building control advice and carrying out appropriate enforcement of the Building Regulations. Provide a comprehensive Building Control Service to deliver a safe built environment outcome for the community.
 
Key Responsibilities:
Advising and assisting members of the public by providing information on applications and their status.
Carry out enforcement duties where approval has not been sought and the works being carried out are unauthorised.
Check and approve submitted applications for Building Regulations compliance, forming fully justified decisions to approve or reject proposals.
Additional Requirements:
Building safety regulator registration
CABE,CIOB or RICS
2+ years in a similar role
