Business Analyst

Seven Resourcing are looking for 2 temporary Business Analyst’s to work in Northampton. These positions are initially for a period of 14 months and are paying £275.00 per day (paid to you via an umbrella company).

The role:

To be part of a permanent in-house professional corporate HR and Financial systems project management capability, providing organisational capability, resilience and value for money (VfM).

To deliver through the successful implementation of defined corporate projects, the desired corporate outcomes.

To liaise with Senior Managers, Programme, Project and Service Managers, I.T. Services, HR, Finance and other specialists, project stakeholders, clients or 3 rd party providers.

We’re looking for a Business Analyst with a demonstrable record of delivering successful digital products and outcomes in the Service Management arena.

You will be the responsible for the elicitation and management of requirements and translating business and user needs into clear functional and non-functional requirements.

This will include proposing solutions and preparing functional and non-functional specifications as well as to inform procurement decisions of external service solutions.

The Business Analyst will be the first-point of contact on issues relating to the case for change, design and requirements.

The Business Analyst will work with internal development and delivery teams with the objective to ensure safe, robust, efficient delivery of a series of complex digital and analytical projects that will drive transformation, efficiencies and improve productivity within a local government shared service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

      Analysis of existing (as is) and required (to be) income management business and systems processes.

Production of business and technical process (as-is and to-be) documentation.

Production of interface block diagrams (block-and-line diagram representing the logical interfaces that connect components within a system or system segment).

Production of Options Appraisal documentation and Outline Business Cases.

Production of Full/Detailed Business Cases

Identification of measurable benefits and production of metrics and realisation plans

Production of quality & acceptance testing criteria and test plans.

Production of business functional design documentation and user guides.

Undertake studies which investigate the impact of solution change on business and customer operations, and, in collaboration with appropriate specialists, consider the opportunities, risks and associated mitigation requirements from legal, organisational, technical, I.T. Systems and economic perspectives.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Degree within a relevant field.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and references covering the last 3 years.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
