Business Services Officer

Seven Resourcing are currently recruiting for a Business Services Officer to start a new role in Ilkeston, Derbyshire. 

You will manage the provision of a flexible, agile and responsive business support service across the Supported Accommodation/Staying Close service. The service strengthens support for those leaving care by improving their connection with the community and family, while improving their mental health and wellbeing, while making positive steps towards independence. The service also monitors accommodation provision for children in care and care leavers.

The position will primarily be office based due to the needs of the service with occasional working from home.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of business services staff to provide an efficient and effective business support function ensuring services are delivered to agreed targets and objectives and meet quality standards.

Ensure the effective co-ordination of work streams to manage business support within own area of responsibility to support peaks and troughs in business need.

Provide, through advice and guidance to social care professionals, operational managers and employees on relevant policies, processes and procedures ensuring compliance with appropriate regulations and legislation.

Applicant Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 12 months recent experience in a similar role or context and ideally within a public sector organisation.

Compliance: Right to Work in the UK

Hours: 37 hours a week
