Business Support Officer – Mental Health Team

Seven Resourcing are looking for 2 temporary Business Support Officers to work with the Mental Health Team in Norwich. This position is initially for a period of 6 months and is paying around £11.00 per hour (PAYE and umbrella payment options are available).

The role:

Provide a range of efficient administrative services to ensure effective business support.

Ensure that agreed business support processes are implemented and are effective.

Key Responsibilities:

      Be the first point of contact for telephone and personal enquiries, supplying information and directing matters as appropriate.

Provide guidance and assistance to colleagues in respect of the procedural aspects of financial and administrative systems.

Provide direct administrative support to operational staff including data analysis, project and financial support.

Diary Management including, confirming and minuting meetings/workshops as necessary.

Provide an IT expert/super user role to support the effective delivery of locality business including guidance and advice to colleagues.

Monitoring annual leave and sickness forms.

Check invoices and claims against CPLI’s and other forms of authorisation and process these for payment and maintain all associated records.

Word processing and creation and population of spreadsheets which may include establishing systems for recording and monitoring complaints and coordinating production of reports and information.

Assist RBOs in monitoring and checking budgetary records including the updating of commitment records within spreadsheets and to provide managerial information and statistical and other returns as requested.

Collect charges due to the department by rendering accounts issuing receipts and recording and banking of income.

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: NVQ Level 2/3 in business Administration or demonstrable experience.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and 2 x references.
  • Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
