Business Support Officer x 10

Seven Resourcing are looking for a number of temporary Business Support Officers to work with the Childrens Trust in Northamptonshire. These positions are initially for a period of 3 months and candidates will be invited to work with the Council on a permanent basis. The PAYE rate is £10.43 and umbrella rate is £13.90 per hour.

Workers required:

Duty and Assessment Team, Northampton- 1(temp to perm), mostly minute taking

Children in Care, Northampton- 4 (2 temp to perm and 2 fixed term)

Safeguarding/Children in Care, Kettering- 4 (temp to perm)

Safeguarding, Wellingborough- 1 (temp to perm)

Key Responsibilities:

      To provide a comprehensive, confidential range of effective and transparent administrative support to the locality operational teams

To co-ordinate and manage the locality team’s processes and systems in relation to communications and SharePoint, including mailbox monitoring, task action and response

To attend and take accurate minutes of group meetings (including attendance records etc.) as directed by the operational leads, in accordance with their priorities, protocols and procedures.

To manage the local requirements and distribution of petty cash, in accordance with policy and procedure, as directed through the financial operational transactions team

To deliver and support induction training for new staff in the locality teams, ensuring effective training on local and corporate systems and requirements

To support the locality operational management teams with the tracking of allocations and cases, including supporting service teams with provision of data and performance information.

Works closely and jointly with the other service members as required to ensure continuity of support for Children’s Services and undertake other tasks as appropriate to the role to meet the needs of the business

Demonstrate awareness/understanding of equal opportunities and other people’s behavioural, physical, social and welfare need

Ensure that reasonable care is taken at all times for the health, safety and welfare of yourself and other persons, and to comply with the policies and procedures relating to health and safety within the department

Applicant Requirements:

  • Qualifications: N/A.
  • Experience: 2+ years working within a similar role.
  • Compliance: Proof of right to work in the UK and references covering the last 3 years.
  • Hours: 37.5 hours p/w.
