Seven Social Care are looking for a temporary Care Assistants to work within Worcestershire.

Initial 3 month contract as you’re covering a vacancy.

£10.44 per hour (Umbrella rate) 

Temp – perm opportunities are possible but not 100% guaranteed. You would need to re-apply however if you’re already in the service then you have a better chance of being successful.

Job Description: We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Care Assistants to join our team for night shifts. As a Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with their daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing, and eating.
  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting their well-being and happiness.
  • Administer medications and ensure proper documentation as per established procedures.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents’ conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Help maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
  • Respect the dignity and privacy of residents at all times.
  • Collaborate effectively with the care team to ensure coordinated and person-cantered care.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • A compassionate and caring nature, with a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others’ lives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Flexibility to work night shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a care setting.
  • A valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check or willingness to undergo the check.
